Today, I’m going to cover one of the most dreaded interview questions: what is your biggest weakness?
Alright, let’s dive in. Everyone hates being asked the question: what’s your biggest weakness during a job interview, it’s hard enough trying to sell your potential during an interview, but it’s even more complicated when they’re asking you to point out your flaws. Thankfully, answering this question isn’t as complex as you might think, and you can use it to your advantage. Of course, the first thing you remember is never to lie when answering This question.
Also, don’t reply with a yes or no. Instead of saying things like “I work too hard” or “I’m such a perfectionist,” Be honest and focus on what you’re attempting to improve. Let’s imagine you’re applying for a training coordinator position at your favorite company; you enjoy designing training and materials and assisting others.
However, public speaking isn’t your forte. So you get nervous when you have to make Those presentations to your teams; instead of trying to sweep this under the rug address, it eases the interviewer’s concerns by showing how you’re trying to overcome this challenge. Here’s an example answer: Because I’m an introvert, I’ve always found public speaking tough; it makes me uneasy to stand up in front of a group of people and speak.
However, I’ve learned this was an integral part of training, others which I loved doing so. As a result, I’ve been working hard to enhance my public speaking skills by attending monthly Toastmasters meetings and volunteering to train coworkers. So now that I’ve challenged myself to achieve this, I’ll be able to get some more practice.
I’ve observed a significant increase in my self-assurance, and I’ve never felt more capable in my work as a trainer. Essentially, you want to show them that you know that you’re weak in this area. However, you understand that it’s an essential part of the job, and you’re taking steps to improve it.
